Now the party's over
I'm so tired
Then I see you coming
Out of nowhere
Much communication in a motion
Without conversation or a notion
Avalon
When the samba takes you
Out of nowhere
And the background's fading
Out of focus
Yes the picture's changing
Every moment
And your destination
You don't know it
Avalon
Dancing, dancing
Dancing, dancing
When you bossanova
There's no holding
Would you have me dancing
Out of nowhere
Avalon

Dear members of Soma,
The time has come for me to leave the Forum. After more than 10 years within Soma, this retirement will be a challenge and definitely a social cutback for me. I have learnt so much here and enjoyed my membership a lot.

Many members has walked through this forum and it has been great to see the progress that some guys has achieved during this era. I will sure miss the opportunity to read about your further experiences on the path.

As a Libra I try to avoid conflicts, and instead I am more comfortable to be the one that mediate in battles. On top of this vein for harmony comes my personality as a highly sensitive person (HSP). It all started with my near death at birth, and this part of my constitution has become more pronounced over the years. Among people embarked on a spiritual path there are an over representation of person with HSP (and ESP of course).

If I’ll be attacked, or treated careless by someone, such a sad event can get me down for days, even weeks. I am not inclined to be exposed for such events, therefore I am used to not engage in arenas that contain that kind of risk.

I am the introvert type, which about 70% of all with HSP are, while the rest of 30% with HSP are extrovert. Though I love to arrange parties and meetings, so I can be rather balanced regarding the two parts: being on my own and being social. This I tell you just so you will get a bit more “know how” and "know why" about me.

Now Soma seldom generate such sad events as humiliation or personal attacks, but it has happened a few times. And it was because such an attack last autumn that I took a time out from here, late last year - but then  started anew this spring. Unfortunately this assault repeated lately this month – by then I, and my guide, decided that it was time to erase this possibility for stressful events for me through Soma. But to be balanced, again, any attack on me in here is not the sole reaseon for my exit.

Along with these kind of hostile attacks, I have seriously questioned my own contribution to Soma. To be kind, I can say that I were more engaged in the past. And I miss a few members, especially my sister on the path.

I will miss all present members as well - noone mentioned, noone forgotten.

I haven't shared any personal updates, but here is a last one:
This summer has been the last summer vacation for me as a professional at the University, since May I work half time and  pension the other half, and in February 2018 I will retire completely. So I look forward to enjoy my otium.

I wish you all the best!

Regards
Jahn

Pack a pack horse up and rest up here on
Black Country Rock
You never know, you might find it here on
Black Country Rock
Some say the view is crazy
But you may adopt another point of view
So if it's much too hazy
You can leave my friend and me with fond "À Dieu"
