Last night I watched as a few grouse ran around my backyard and flew up in a tree to roost at sunset.
This morning Ive been watching 4 of them out there, one a huge male, all ruffled out and flirting with the ladies..
If they move in closer Ill take some photos.
They are one of my favorite birds, they beat their wings and it sounds like drums.. you can hear it for miles! Woodland drummers!
