well I'll tell you what I do, when leading up to such a flight, there is so much to be done, I find it hard to plumb the meaning of what is really happening, so after dinner on the plane, when everyone is settling into movies or sleep, I ask for a double shot of brandy, and I sit there sipping and allowing my mind to sink into the layer beneath. But then I have a love of sitting up awake when all around me are asleep.
