Words passed along..sunshine of time..

My mother always used to tell me as a young child, "Jenny, always remember if you havn't anything good to say.. then say nothing at all."

This always remained like an angel sitting on my shoulder to drive its heal in at just the right moments.

I often find this running through my mind when faced with just about anything. Well.. actually lately it runs with everything!

"It is what it is."

Ive found new eyes in exploring the world with this view, stripping away the human to "it is what it is"

What is it?

Simply saying.. it just IS! Its the spirit of all things doing its thing in perfect flow of spirit.

"I" can make it all sorts of things.. but there is no truth in that. Truth for the "I" perhaps.. but does that make it true for another "I" No. So is it true?

Nope.. it is what it is.

The longing to understand the 'why' is only understood by a connection to the spirit of what is.

I think it's a vietnam war-era expression, used eventually to calm down tripping people who were freaking out.
