Jake's camera broke while at camp,  I am still in the midst of fixing it,  putting little pieces of metal back inside the battery case,  tedious process.

So,  here are some of the girls at the Camp. (snagged from Facebook)

This is Erica,  (or Cadet Haggerty as they call her).  She has a mad cruch on Jakob,  but according to Jake,  she's not his type.  ;)

Here's all of them:

At 12 to 15 yrs old,  they're still just kids.

Jake met a lot of new friends from all over Canada, has a lot of new Facebook connections and made plans to meet up with many of them again next year when the Camp is three weeks long-- a Trades Camp.  I noticed a small change in Jake when he came back, for the better.   am hoping to get Cass in to cadets ASAP,  she's still a bit too young.   It's a great expereince for kids and helps parents out so much with disciplie and respect etc.   A welcome aid for a single Mom,  that's for sure!

Not here, not there, but everywhere - always right before your eyes.

Strolling down memory lane.  Too bad all the picture links are broken, though.
